The Young Workforce Heart Health Report 2026 analysed health check-up data from 200,000 employees across India.
The report used health markers including blood pressure, blood glucose and blood lipids to flag potential cardiovascular risk.
The 58.5% figure for 2026 compares with 70.9% in 2023, a decline of 12.4 percentage points.
The report noted that the safer conclusion is that cardiovascular risk has not increased among young employees, rather than that their underlying health has clearly improved.
