The Indian government has issued an premonitory to news media, including social media platforms, advising against publishing false or instigative content ahead of the sanctification of the Ram tabernacle in Ayodhya on January 22. Social media platforms are also advised to not host or publish similarcontent.New Delhi The Union ministry of information and broadcasting( MIB) has issued an premonitory to all news media – TV, print, and digital media, including social media platforms, about publishing or broadcasting any content that may be false or manipulated and content that could disturb collaborative harmony or public order ahead of the sanctification of the Ram tabernacle in Ayodhya on January 22. “ It’s observed that certain unverified, instigative and fake dispatches are being spread, especially on social media, which can disturb collaborative harmony and public order, ” the premonitory read.
