The public event, scheduled to be held around 10.45 am, will witness the groundbreaking ceremony of eight AMRUT (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation) projects worth around Rs 2,000 billion. Besides announcing the mega plan, PM Modi will also invest around Rs 90,000 crore in housing units built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). Raynagar Housing Society in Solapur will donate 15,000 houses to help many people, including handicraft workers, vendors, electrical workers, cloth collectors, bidi workers and people driving cars.
“At a public event in Solapur, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of eight AMRUTs (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation) in Maharashtra worth around Rs 2,000 million,” he said.
