Motorola has confirmed the Signature 27 for India.

It has a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip.

It has a 200MP periscope camera.

Seven years of updates are promised.

Price and date are not announced.

Some outlets said Motorola launched the phone at the event, while others say it was only showcased, so the launch itself is not yet complete.

The phone uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, according to The Mobile Indian.

It comes with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of storage, according to the same report.

The display is 6.8 inches, with a resolution of 2780 x 1264 pixels, according to The Mobile Indian.

The main camera is a 50MP Sony LYTIA 910 sensor, paired with a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, according to the reports.

The spec table in The Mobile Indian also lists a second 50MP rear camera and a 50MP front camera.

The battery is listed at 6,000mAh, according to The Mobile Indian, and this figure is from that report alone.

The phone runs Android 17, with Google Gemini integrated into the software experience, according to the reports.

Motorola has committed to seven years of Android OS upgrades and seven years of security updates, according to the reports.

It is Motorola’s first phone with audio by Bang & Olufsen, following a multi-year partnership, according to The Mobile Indian.

Motorola’s ArcticMesh cooling system is used in the phone, according to the same report.

Motorola described it as its first ultra-premium device to use a naming scheme based on the last two digits of the coming year, according to The Mobile Indian.

Motorola has not revealed all details, so the specification list may change.

A periscope telephoto camera uses a folded lens design to deliver optical zoom in a thin phone body.
