Shan Masood’s 88 not out steadies Pakistan against West Indies

Shan Masood’s 88 not out steadied Pakistan at 199 for 3 against West Indies at stumps on day two of the first Test in Tarouba.

Masood, batting on 88 off 137 balls with 11 fours, put on 155 with Imam-ul-Haq, who made 63.

Pakistan’s reply began badly, with opener Azan Awais bowled by Kemar Roach for a nine-ball duck.

Salman Ali Agha remained unbeaten on nought off 9 balls when play ended for the day.

West Indies were bowled out for 311 in their first innings, with Mohammad Ali taking four wickets for Pakistan.

Pakistan will resume their innings on day three, still trailing by 112 runs.
