Ravindra Jadeja’s fitness is under review as India prepare to finalise their Test squad for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka.
The all-rounder has been managing a tennis elbow injury from IPL 2026, with no official word yet on his recovery status.
Jasprit Bumrah’s fitness is also being closely watched by selectors. Both players sat out India’s one-off Test against Afghanistan.
Even so, Jadeja is expected to be in line for a recall given how valuable his all-round contributions are against Sri Lanka.
The two-Test series starts with the opener in Galle on August 15, before moving to Colombo for the second Test from August 23.
India currently sit fifth in the World Test Championship standings heading into the series.
